Qquirrh Mountain Temple
We had the chance a couple weeks ago to go to the Qquirrah Mountain Temple open house. It was one of those things that we were kind of tired and thinking we might just head home so it wasn't so late traveling but we decided to go after all. I am so glad we did because it was really neat. The temple was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed going with Shane and Lana. I would really like to go back when it is open after the dedication and do a session. (A little further drive than St. George though.)
Easter 2009
Kyla got a pink bounce ball in her Easter basket and it was the only thing she must have liked casue she didnt show much intrest in the rest of her stuff not even the candy. She thinks it is pretty cool and has been playing with it ever since. I wasn't sure what were were going to do after Easter was over, Kyla was loving the whole easter egg hunt game. She had a basket of eggs we hid and found easter eggs about 3x a day. The pink ball was a good distraction to take away the easter eggs for another year at least.
Good thing there are holidays
Holidays seems to be the only time I update my blog. It started with Deer Hunt last year (and yes the hunting season is a MAJOR holiday in our lives), then Halloween, Christmas, Kyla's birthday and now Easter. Good thing for holidays, or maybe I just need to get my camera out more!!!!!
Family Easter Picnic
We went out on the annual family Easter picnic with the White's. It was alot of fun and the weather was actually pretty nice.All the Cousins
It is pretty rare to have everyone together but everyone came on the Easter picnic so we got a picture of all the the cousins, all 13 of them!
Kyla's First Birthday
Kyla turned one over the weekend. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday with the Whites and Sunday with the Thompson's. Saturday was Kyla's actual birthday and it worked out that Dusty's nephew MaCoy was going to be baptized that day too. We went to the baptism and then had a party afterwards. On Sunday it was my niece's birthday so we had a joint party with my family that day. We pretty much just partied all weekend long. Kyla got lots of funs toys some cute new clothes.
