Our Christmas 2010!

Princess Cake

Kyla was Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween this year. I told her several times she was going to be Strawberry Shortcake, but if you asked her what she was she would tell you a Princess. After several attempts of trying to correct her, I called it good when she answered her name was Princess Cake. So there you have it Kyla was Princess Cake with pink hair!

Summer Wrap Up

Summer has pretty much come and gone already. We managed to make it to the zoo last week and Kyla had lots of fun seeing all the animals. She is at a fun age for this kind of stuff. Her favorite was the elephants, giraffes and the gorilla. (But I did not get a pic of the gorilla whoops).

My favorite -- and I am not being biased at all. I think Tigers are so cool!

Kyla got this bike for her birthday back in February. She has never showed much interest in it, I guess she was too little. The last couple of weeks all she wants to do is escape to the driveway to ride it.

Little Miss Arts & Crafts I bought Kyla some watercolor paints and wow, entertained her for at least an hour one night and a couple times since. Here is her artwork she is so proudly showing off.

Kyla brought home some crafts she made at the babysitter. She has the best babysitter ever. (And I am not just saying that cause she will probably see this :) She has brought home other fun things too but these two were her favorite. Once again here is Kyla pretty proud to show off her projects.

Our Summer ... so far

I feel like all we have done this summer is yard work, yard work, and more yard work. But as I looked at at some of my pictures I guess we have done more than that. Although the yard has occupied most of our time and MONEY!! We planted a few trees, did some curbing and brought in some rock. Looks so much better than the weed patch it has been. We also go Kyla a swing set which she loves.

We have been camping in the Beaver Mountains, but only once. Hope to make
it up s few more times before summer is over.

We had a graduation and wedding that keep us busy.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland a couple weeks ago with Dusty's brother and his family. We had so much fun. We spent a day at the beach which was obvisously Kyla's 1st time to go to the beach, but mine and Dusty's as well so that was really fun. The rest of the time we spent at Disneyland. I was a little worried Kyla would be too small and not be able to do a whole lot or really understand what we were doing but she had so much fun. I was glad we decided to go even though we decided kind of last minute. Kyla's favorite was Goofy. Once she seen him she was in love with him. The rest of the trip was all about Goofy. We bought her a stuffed Goofy that hasnt left her side since we got home. She is now also obsessed with the ocean. If she sees it on TV or a picture she yells OCEAN!!! Can't wait to go again sometime.

Finally got some updated family pictures taken last month. The last time my family had done pic my nephew was about 6 months old. He is now 6 and there has been 2 more added to the family since. Next on the list to get the all the Whites together!
